frontage tak fok
I found this when I was looking through my old photos, this restaurant was reviewed last year in my old food blog in byethost. However I chose to put this up just to let new readers to get to know this nice place to eat. This shop features a wide variety of seafood as well as numerous ways of cooking them all. For crabs, you can get the usual kam heong, hot and sour, and many familiar ways. However, they also have unique ways which we had tried today and its not too bad for the taste buds as well.
cheese
The cheese baked style, can be said to be a nice way of serving the crabs as it does not entirely replaces the sweet taste of the freshly baked crabs, with a subtle hint of japanese fish stock (bonito) layered the succulent white flesh of the crabs.
salted egg
The uber heart-stopping style of salted egg yolk baked crabs, (黄金蟹) is definitely not for the health conscious as salted egg yolks are high in cholesterol. However, it really puts a salty and mushy touch to accompany the sweet white flesh of the crabs.
prawns
Other seafood that is featured in this restaurant includes the usual butter-fried prawns, which is equally delicious to the crabs we eaten before.
mussels
The mussels were served in clear broth style, whereby it strikes an equal balance to the otherwise fatty stuff we had before.
fried tofu
We ordered two types of tofu, the first being the seafood tofu, which is deep fried crispy on the outside and soft and tasty in the inside. Goes very well with the sweet chilli sauce, which can be seen behind the serving plate.
minced meat tofu
The second type of bean curd is cooked with minced meat and soya sauce (Fu Chow Tauhu) which is more juicier and soft than its deep fried counterpart. Please note that you may have to come early to grab a table as it was quite pack with customers around 7pm. This shop is located at Desa Aman Puri, whereby you can access it through the Bandar Sri Damansara interchange of the NKVE.
